With its breathtaking landscapes, cities of art, culinary delicacies and wines, Italy remains a favourite destination for Quebec tourists. In fact, Italy won the prestigious 2015-2016 Destination of the year, as voted by consumers and travel industry representatives in the province.
The award was handed out this morning by the Association des Agents de Voyage du Québec (AAVQ)to Danielle Virone, Executive Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, accompanied by Maria Pietrantonio, Project Director, who accepted on behalf of everyone who promotes Italy in Québec.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada has identified tourism among its strategic pillars and collaborates with the Québec travel industry to promote Italy and its treasures.
Wine and Travel Italy, an initiative of the ICCC, is a showcase of Italian vineyards that are opening their doors to wine lovers, who are looking for uniques experiences and unforgettable stays.
