Since 1939, when the Gaslini Alberti family bought it, the Badia di Morrona has been managed  with foresight and entrepreneurial ability. The vineyards were renewed, production techniques have been constantly improved, the cellar and the barrique for aging in wood were renovated and expanded. Today, the company produces wine and olive oil, offers a variety of facilities in the agritourism, a restaurant and the use of the Badia, dating back to 1089, as a venue for all kinds of events and ceremonies.

Taking advantage of the ideal location, the Museum of Fine Arts of Montréal, we prepared a tribute to 11 of the greatest contemporary painters, trying to imagine how they would have interpreted, in their own style, a bottle and a glass of wine. We then associate each artist with the 11 wineries participating in the second edition of the “Wine and Travel Italy Roadshow”.

For the initiative “11 artists for 11 vineyards”, the Badia di Morrona company was paired with the artist Haring.”
