The Vitivinicola Alberto Loi was founded in the period between the late 1940s and early 1950s, by Alberto Loi.  Born in Jerzu (province of Nuoro), he came from a family of wine growers and producers in Cannonau. The current owners, the children of Alberto Loi, represent the third generation of the family dedicated to the production of Cannonau wine.

Taking advantage of the ideal location, the Museum of Fine Arts of Montréal, we prepared a tribute to 11 of the greatest contemporary painters, trying to imagine how they would have interpreted, in their own style, a bottle and a glass of wine. We then associate each artist with the 11 wineries participating in the second edition of the “Wine and Travel Italy Roadshow”.

For the initiative “11 artists for 11 vineyards “, the Alberto Loi company was paired with the artist Lichtenstein.”
