Introduced in the province during the ’70s, the Kiwi di Latina IGP is today one of the most important protected geographical indications in the area. The harvesting of these fruits takes place at the end of October, when the fruit is ripe. This fruit, considered to originate from New Zealand, was already known in China more than 700 years ago.
