Gianduia is a mixture of hazelnuts and chocolate created in Piedmont in 1806. Perfected in 1852 by Master Chocolatier Michele Prochet, this mixture has been used over the years to prepare chocolates (Gianduiotto), spreads, tablets and dessert pastries.
